Messner Flooring’s Helps Feed Those In Need This Holiday Season
During December, Messner Flooring is collecting donations of non-perishable food items for 2 local shelters, the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf and the Pittsford Food Cupboard. We are proud to support organizations that work to help those in need and spread the word about what you can do to help the community.
As we’ve been gathering non-perishable food items, we can’t help but think of our own households, and the food we buy and serve to family and friends this holiday season, as well as the rest of the year. Our hearts go out to those less fortunate than us. This season please join us in helping more local families to enjoy meals without having to worry about how they’ll afford it. ❤️
You can drop off non-perishable food items to either of our retail showrooms in Greece and Pittsford. See below for more info on the organizations we’re working with, and how you can help!
Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf
The Greece Food Shelf serves residents of Greece, NY as well as the Charlotte neighborhood. It is a non-profit emergency food pantry and member of Foodlink, Inc., another wonderful organization we support. The Greece Food Shelf has several programs to assist those in need, including a senior program, and delivery services.
To contact the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf, call (585) 683-9674 or email email@example.com.
You may drop off donations to our Greece showroom (2695 W. Ridge Road) or contact the Food Shelf to learn how to drop off directly (500 Maiden Lane.)
Pittsford Food Cupboard
The Pittsford Food Cupboard serves families in need in Pittsford, Mendon, Honeoye Falls, Brighton, East Rochester, and some areas of the City of Rochester. It is a non-profit organization that exists solely through grants and donations from the community.
To contact the Pittsford Food Cupboard, call (585) 264-9860 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may drop off donations to our Pittsford Showroom (19 Monroe Ave) or directly to the Food Cupboard at 3800 Monroe Ave, Door 26.
How Your Donations Help
Food donations to our local pantries prevent families from going hungry by offering no cost food items to those in need. Together, the Greece Food Shelf and Pittsford Food Cupboard serve almost ten thousand people in our community! During the season of giving, we’re proud to help these organizations by helping to collect donations of non-perishable dry goods.
We’re specifically collecting non-perishable food items for these organizations, but in general they do accept much more. Please contact each pantry for more information on what they’re accepting or looking for. For our drive we’re looking for items like pasta, canned vegetables, and tomato products, among others. See our list for more ideas.
Thank you for joining us to help feed those in need this holiday season!
