Building Community with Habitat for Humanity — One Floor (and One Home) at a Time

We had an amazing time at this year’s Habitat for Humanity Gala! The night was packed with inspiration, connection, and a celebration of Habitat’s meaningful work right here in our community.

At Messner Flooring, giving back isn’t just something we do. It’s who we are. For more than 60 years, the Rochester community has supported our family-owned business. We feel a deep responsibility to give back to the people and causes that make this region a special place to live and work.

Why We Support Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity holds a special place in our hearts. Ted Messner, our very own, has been personally involved with their efforts for years. Over time, we’ve proudly partnered with Habitat on several projects. Whether we’re donating flooring materials or volunteering at build sites, we fully believe in their mission. Habitat helps families gain strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. That’s a goal we stand behind.

More Than Houses, Habitat Builds Hope

Habitat for Humanity does more than construct homes. They inspire hope. They unite communities and give families a foundation for brighter futures. From Rochester to communities across the globe, their work transforms lives every day. We feel honored to support their mission and to celebrate the lasting impact they have.

Giving Back Is in Our DNA

While Habitat is a big part of what we do, it’s not the only way we give back. At Messner Flooring, we’re always looking for ways to make a difference. We love Candlelight Night, organizing food drives for local cupboards, hosting Messner Team Events, and showing up for the people who have supported us across generations.

We’ve experienced firsthand how a strong, supportive community can change lives. That’s why we’re committed to doing our part, one project, one partnership, and one helping hand at a time. Whether we’re laying beautiful floors or committing our time to causes that matter, we believe everyone deserves a home to feel proud of.

Thank You, Habitat for Humanity

Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for all the incredible work you do. We’re proud to stand with you today, tomorrow, and every day. With every home built and every life changed, you make Rochester a better place, and we couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of that.
